Knurd Films introduces Bonefish Grill

Bonefish Grill in Southlake has been a standout location for a few years, so the Knurds were pretty pumped to get started on ‘Knurd Films introduces Bonefish Grill’ for the Carroll Education Foundation’s Culinary Celebration. We got there a few minutes early and noticed the really cool fish door pulls on the front door!

We were greeted by John Morst. John is the Managing Partner and Chef at the Bonefish Grill in Southlake. He let us in, showed us around and gave us a couple of pretty good ideas on the interview location. We settled in close to the bar, set up our rig and called for John to come back over to get started.

Chef John was very pleasant – and very easy to talk to – which is always a good thing during an interview. As it turns out, chef John is from the East Coast, which brings us to the seafood. During the interview with Knurd Films, chef John spoke about crab cakes in Maryland, Bang Bang Shrimp Wednesdays at Bonefish and learning how to command a kitchen by watching his grandmother when he was younger.

Further into the interview, we spoke about the Carroll Education Foundation’s Culinary Event and Bonefish Grill’s stance on community service and involvement. All in all, it was a great way to start the day. At the end of the day, ‘Knurd Films introduces Bonefish Grill’ was a success.

Bonefish Grill in Southlake is located at 1201 E. Southlake Blvd., Southlake TX 76092. For more information about Bonefish Grill and Chef John Morst, you can visit their website at
